Welcome to Boy Scouts of America Troop 731

We are Boy Scouts of America Troop 731 located in Sugar Land, Texas. We are affiliated with the Sam Houston Area Council (Houston, Texas), the largest BSA Council in the United States, and we are chartered by the Exchange Club of Sugar Land. Our Troop meets on Monday nights at Highlands Elementary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Winter Camp 2010 Selection

The Scouts will be selecting a location for Winter Camp 2010. Options include:

1. Lost Pines Scout Camp, near Bastrop, TX
2. Camp Stake, Conroe, TX
3. Camp Karankawa, near West Columbia, TX
4. Camp Urland, near Woodville, TX (Troop went there last year)

On the "LINKS" page of the website, I have posted information about the Camps as well as a link to their website. Please review the locations and be prepared to vote for your favorite Winter Camp shortly.

Summer Camp 2010 Commitment Letter

I know it seems too early to be thinking about Summer Camp right now, but the troop has already made deposits for Buffalo Trails Scout Ranch in the Davis Mountain region of Texas. Summer camp date is July 24-31. The Troop will be required to make another payment milestone shortly and we need to hear from you if you are interested in attending.

The summer camp commitment letter has been posted in the permission slip section of the download page. Please turn in the form with your deposit to Mrs S. as soon as possible to “save your spot” for the trip. We look forward to hearing from you!

The commitment letters and deposits for Summer Camp are past due !!!
